My work explores the relationship between the body and life as performance.
With influences as diverse as Blake and Newton, new tensions are manufactured from both orderly and random narratives.
Ever since I was a child I have been fascinated by the ephemeral nature of meaning. What starts out as yearning soon becomes corrupted into a carnival of distress, leaving only a sense of what could have been and the possibility of a new understanding.
As momentary derivatives become transformed through emergent and repetitive practice, the viewer is left with a clue to the limits of our future.
